Time to bring the enlightenment....

The main Domino left to fall is 'insert drum roll' Tim Couch. The Packers are the lead team in signing him but the Bears are considering it as well. Once that piece falls into place you have 2 options:

DE Mario Williams
Mario Williams
Everyone is jumping on them for picking DE Mario Willaims with the first pick in the draft, so I guess I'll join in on the fun. I mean come on now... Mario Williams? With the first pick? Sounds like something the Redskins would do.

If you didn't want the consensus number one player in the draft why in the world did you not field offers for the first pick? Someone had to be excited enough to give you something. If your asking price was too high then shame on you.

Now would Mario Williams be available at pick 4 or 5 or 7? Not sure. But I tell you one thing, I would have found out. I would have traded the first pick for something, anything other than skipping Reggie Bush. I would have taken TE Vernon Davis, OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson or a myriad of other players in any combo.

Am I anti Mario? Nope. I am against him going #1 in the draft. To be honest I liked the other NC State DE Manny Lawson better, as Lawson played the right side of the D-Line and had to face Left Tackles all the time.

I keep hearing that Mario may be the next Reggie White or another Julius Peppers. Uh-Huh... keep on talking. I'll remind everyone of this in five years when you are fighting just to remember who was drafted before Reggie Bush.

Big Chachi just likes to hear himself ramble on Talkin Smack.
